Pretty good...

The guitar sound needs some serious work, as it doesn't sound like quite what you're going for. Are you using FL Slayer or something?

The song, however can work. It would be a 6/10 if it weren't for that awesome drum beat during the chorus-like parts.
Good job.

yea i use FL slayer. either it sucks horribly or i dont know how to use it!

Do you know what loop means?

"Loop" implies that the song can be looped. This song sounds absolutely terrible looped. Try using more than one instrument in some of your songs, and have a little sense of musical quality.

Wow

How do you consider these post-worthy?

Bad.

This is anything but a "loop". Was any thought put into this, or were you just testing out instrument sounds?

Eh.

I use Fruity Loops too, right now, and am planning to move on soon. This song uses all of the original sounds for drums, and that's my main complaint. These sounds are awful. I'd like to hear this with better sounds. It's also a bit simplistic. If this is what you were aiming for, you hit the nail on the head.

Too loud, and distorted.

The first thing I'll say is that the note progression was nice, and I enjoyed the sound of some of the instruments, as well as the ambient break in the middle (explained further below).

The first thing that I noticed was the incredible volume of the voice, and the beginning instrument-thing, and as I'm listening on, the entire song is very loud. There doesn't seem to be any, or hardly any low-end sounds, and the entire piece sounds a little bit too distorted. When it went into the break with the ambient sounds, it was a pleasant break from the loud distorted sound, until the lady's voice came in, which was again, far too loud.
I have no idea if the original song was like this or not, but it's just a little bit too abrasive for my liking. I'm sure some people would like it far more than me, and hopefully they'll come and listen to this song.

Distorted? ;P o...k..a..y..

I liked it.

I liked this one, it has a nice, pleasant feel to it. I can see this being used in a game, yes. The sound you used for the "snare" or whatever you'd like to call that, fit very nicely with the ambiance of the song, and the chords were pleasing to hear.
What program do you use, if you don't mind my asking?

Manhart responds:

I'm glad you liked it.
It is no secret that I use Fruity Loops 7 to make my music :)
The guitar was recorded in FL7 with a TonePort from Line6 with the GearBox software.

Am I cool yet?
